Vintage bar set – how to get rid of the smell?

I found a great vintage travel bar set with shot glasses, a mixer and a portable ice crusher. Only problem is that it has the vintage smell. How can I get rid of it? I’ve already tried soaking everything in soap, then in baking soda and the smell is not as strong but it is still there. Any ideas?
